Been a busy summer for the three boats so far. Bait had been a big issue this season but we are making most days work with what we are dealt bait wise. The past week we have anything from zero live bait to 1" anchovies to 8" Sardine.
We are seeing and catching Yellowtail just about daily at the Island and the potential for a nice score is there just need all the stars to align. Along with the Yellows we are picking away at the Calico Bass with Bonito all over the Island and a nuisance at times. Things are definitely getting interesting with water temps up to 76 degrees and Yellowfin Tuna almost in striking distance for us.
